Contemporary Drawing

" My work consists upon exploring the intermediary space between death and life, decay and growth, and wrong and right, in an attempt to understand as much as to criticize."

Drawing — Series 2

Artist Statement

This series reflects on the fragile relationship between memory, nature, and the environments we inherit. Familiar forms emerge and dissolve across the drawings — fragments of landscape, childhood recollection, organic structures, and imagined spaces appear as if they belong to the same shifting world.

The work moves between nurture and disturbance, intimacy and distance, growth and disappearance. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, the drawings allow these conditions to coexist, leaving space for contradiction and personal interpretation. What appears gentle may also carry traces of damage; what seems broken may still suggest renewal.

For me, these images are less about describing a specific place or event than about returning to a deeper sense of origin — something remembered, inherited, and continuously transformed. The landscape becomes both physical and psychological, holding traces of experience while remaining open to change, loss, and regeneration.
